Have had the thermometer for 5 weeks now, and have been pleased with it overall. Comes with a very nice storage case. Forehead measurement accuracy seems quite good, have been checking against a more typical under the tongue thermometer. Have not tested it for accuracy when measuring other object temperatures. The optional audio feature, a series of beeps to information the user of the device status, are way too faint, very difficult to hear. That's the only complaint so far. When taking your own temperature the status beeps are handy to use, when taking someone else's temperature the status window works well, and the beeps are optional.

This is so nice. Very easy to work. Measure’s temperatures on people, objects and rooms. Comes with batteries so you can use it right out of the box. Instructions are easy to understand. Got it on sale, price was good. Good quality material also. Would recommend to everyone.

Product Works Well - Battery Compartment Issues

This product was easy to set up and appeared to work very well. The temperature readings had a range of about one degree, so I just took multiple readings and estimated the actual temperature. It was close enough to be able to tell is someone is running a fever.The only real negative is the instructions for opening the battery compartment. I was going to return the item because I was having so much trouble opening it. Then, I realized that after inserting a paper clip into the compartment lock, I had to tip the point of the clip toward the battery compartment. The compartment then popped open easily - no tugging or prying open necessary. If the instructions for opening the battery compartment had been clear, my rating would have been five stars.

Very nice thermometer easy to use and comes in a very nice case to keep it protected. I like that the kids can be asleep and I can still get their temperature without disturbing them.

Truly, I can't tell you that this is my absolute favorite purchase that has amazing accurate readings, because I do not believe that it does...from the forehead like it is supposed to. Better readings from ear. Good for the price though!
